The law N08-05, of 16 Safar 1429 corresponding to February 23th, 2008 concerning the orientation law and the five-year projection programme for scientific research and technological development 2008-2012, defines the main objectives of scientific research and Technological development projected for the next decade. To achieve these objectives, 34 national research programmes (PNR) have been approved by the Directorate General of Scientific Research and Technological Development (DGRSDT). These programmes are defined by fields, axes and themes.
The Centre of Scientific and Technical Research in Social and Cultural Anthropology (CRASC) has been appointed by the Directorate General of Scientific Research and Technological Development (DGRSDT) to run four National Research Programmes. Out of a total of 387 project proposals submitted, 221 projects were validated after a double assessment confirmed by the CRASC Extended Scientific Council and endorsed by the Intersectoral Commissions (CIS).
